Established in 1966 the Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) is situated in Beaver County Pennsylvania. It is a two-year community college accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Each year the college enrolls more than 2000 students and offers a wide variety of degrees and certifications programs in areas of business arts and sciences technology health and human services and public service professions. Among the most popular programs offered by CCBC are the nursing and aviation programs. The college is also seen as the best choice in the region for higher education in terms of being cost effective. Community College of Beaver County is known for offering extremely affordable programs for higher education in the entire Beaver County.
The Community College of Beaver County also supports several Greek organizations for its students such as the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Alpha Eta Rho and Tau Pi Rho.
