American Association Of Community Colleges

The American Association of Community Colleges is the organization for all the community colleges at the National Level. It is called AACC in short and its headquarters are located in Washington D.C. It works closely with the director’s of State offices. It is also a member of “THE SIX” large presidentially based associations and collaborates with an extensive range of other entities that are within the higher education community for matters like monitoring and influencing federal policy, and for collaborating topics of mutual interest. An AACC meeting is the largest and most dynamic gathering of educational leaders, which includes 2,000 community colleges and representatives of business/industry and agencies.
