Bossier Parish Community College was established in 1967. It is also known through the abbreviation, BPCC. BPCC is home to various religious organizations, student media groups and service groups. In 1973, it received its present name, Bossier Parish Community College. Student enrollment was 4,986 in 2007- 2008. Most of the students are enrolled in undergraduate programs and the incoming freshmen consist of the students living in US. The college offers online education as well.
