Corning Community College
Corning Community College operates under the State University of New York. Even though the college was established in 1957, it moved to its current location six years later, that is in 1963. Even today, the main campus of the college is located on Spencer Hill. There are over two hundred and fifty faculty members. The college boasts a beautiful five hundred and fifty acres of beautiful main campus area and has over five thousand students. Like many other community colleges, Corning Community College is a two year co-ed institute of higher education with many transfer, dual enrollment and Work Force Development programs.
The following are some of the programs offered at the Corning Community College; Therapy and Counseling, Security and Law Enforcement, Science and Laboratory Technician, Production Trades, Office and Administration, Nursing and Emergency Medicine, Mechanics and Repair, Liberal Arts, Law, Fine Arts, Family and Social Work, Engineering Technician, Engineering, Education and Teaching, Computer Science and Engineering, Business and Management. All of these programs fall under the departments like Health and Science, Social Sciences and Social Services, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Technology and Engineering, Infrastructure, Communications and Humanities.
