Established in 1897, the Bay Path College is a women's undergraduate and graduate college that provides education in various disciplines. The private college is located in Longmeadow, Massachusetts and started out as a coeducational institute before it became one of the few women-only schools in the state of Massachusetts. The school has expanded from its primary campus in Longmeadow to two new campuses in Central Massachusetts and Burlington.
 
The student body at Bay Path College comprises of over 2,000 students from 10 different states of which almost 90 percent live on campus. The average size of a class is 17 students as the school focuses on providing personalized and career-oriented education to prepare students for a professional career. 70 percent of the school's faculty holds a doctorate degree or a degree of the highest proportion in their respective fields.
