Boise State University
Boise State University is located in the state of Idaho and is the state's largest public research university. The university was founded in 1932 and has since then become a major educational institute with a student body of almost 20,000 students. The faculty of over 1,100 includes 11 Idaho Professor of the Year honorees, while most of the faculty holds high level degrees such as PhDs and are well known in their respective fields. The main campus of the university is situated on over 175 acres at the bank of the Boise River while there are a number of other satellite campuses around the state.
