The two year college was established in 1967 and since then has been offering affordable education to the locals. The college which is also commonly referred to as Aims offers degrees in more than a hundred and sixty courses like Automotive Accounting Aviation Allied Health College Prep Math Business Technology Communication Media Computer Aided (CAD)/Engineering Criminal Justice Computer Science Computer Information Systems Education Electronics Communication Media Construction Site Management Physical Education World Languages & Ethnic Studies Medical Clinical Assisting. Many of its programs also aim at working people or anyone who cannot attend the morning classes. For such people who work during the morning Aims is offering evening classes. Many of these programs aim at polishing and upgrading personal skills so as to excel in your field. High school students too can take advantage of dual enrollment by taking college courses before graduating from high schools.

With over eight thousand students Aims presents a very good opportunity to prepare for admission or transfer to a two year college. You can earn up to 60 credits for your Bachelor's degree and then get them transferred to any four year college.
