Courses offered at Pima Medical Institute
Pima Medical Institute offers associate's degrees and bachelor's degree programs in various medical disciplines. It also offers certificate programs in healthcare. Some of the areas students can choose to focus their studies include Dental Hygiene, Mortuary Science, Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Ophthalmic Medical Technician and Physical Therapist Assistant. Also, they can choose programs in Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, Veterinary Technicians, Dental Assistant and Massage Therapy. Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant and Pharmacy Technician programs are also offered at this institute. Students can also enroll in Phlebotomy and Veterinary Assistant programs. Other than the regular programs, Pima Medical Institute also offers online programs in Radiography, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy and Health Care Administration.
Financial Aid
Students who want to pursue programs at Pima Medical Institute but lack the means to pay for the cost these programs can avail monetary help from this institute. These programs have different eligibility criteria. Students who qualify can avail financial aid in the form of Federal Pell Grant, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan, Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan and Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS),. They can also get Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership and Campus Based Funding.
Accreditation
Pima Medical Institute is accredited by Bureau of Health Education Schools. It also has approval of State of New Mexico Veterans Service Commission and San Diego Workforce Partnership.
