Work experience of 2 to 5 years is preferred but not required. Top schools consider applicants holistically; students are evaluated not only on the basis of their intellectual ability, leadership potential, and academic performance, but also on factors such as experience, background, values, and perspectives. Applicants must also submit recommendation letters and essays reflecting their personal perspectives.
