Information technology management (ITM) is an interdisciplinary academic field which combines principles of computer science, management science, psychology, organizational behavior, and economics. ITM programs aim to train students in information technologies and principles of information theory along with economic and organizational implications. ITM is a comprehensive field; elements of which may be learned at various academic degree levels. Colleges and universities offer both degree and non-degree (certificate) programs in ITM. Other Requirements and Benefits
Some programs may require the students to be in full-time residence. Universities may assign their students with a teaching and/or research assistant position, while completing the coursework.
