Electronic business or e business is an often interchangeably term used within e commerce. In either case, e business is an application of internet technologies for a variety of business solutions. This includes online retail, e government, customer relationship management, e supply chain management, and banking. E business managers are involved in a variety of business activities like online advertising, strategic marketing, website planning, and product development, etc.
E Business Degrees
E business is a specialized track within the business curriculum wherein students can earn a bachelors, masters and even doctoral degrees. Many traditional and online universities and their business schools offer either a degree in e business or business with an e business concentration.

The degree may take as long as 2 years for full-time students and longer for part-time students to complete. The admission process will differ from school to school. Completing an online application, sending in transcripts along with GRE or GMAT scores (if applicable), with letters of recommendation are usually the general admission requirements.

E business degrees are available online as well. As long as the programs are accredited, their quality of education may be as good as any traditional college or university. The admission criteria of online universities may be similar to traditional universities and the duration of a degree may be similar as well.
