Project Management Training
Project Management is a field of study that focuses on organizing, planning and managing resources in order to accomplish a specific one-time objective or project successfully. In simple words, Project Management is the acquired skills and knowledge that is applied to plan, initiate, monitor, execute, control and close projects while using a formal set of tools and techniques. A project is a temporary effort that is started to meet unique objectives and goals, with the purpose of bringing beneficial change or added value. However, the temporary nature of projects is in contrast to business operations, as they are recurring, permanent or semi-permanent functional work that produce services or products.
The main function of project management is to achieve all of the project goals and objectives, while respecting the predetermined project constraints. The usual constraints include time, scope, and budget. Another role of project management is quantifying the resources needed to meet pre-defined objectives. It also includes managing the completion of the project plan, along with working regular 'controls' to ensure that there is accurate and objective information on 'performance' relative to the plan, and the methods to execute recovery actions where required. Thus, project management is not an easy task to do. Proper Project Management Training is necessary to the job successfully.
