Education City
Education City has become the new identity of the Qatar State. It is one practical step taken by any Middle East State towards serving the people and securing their future. The project is initiated and backed by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. The Education City is located at the outskirts of state’s capital city, Doha and covers an area of 14 square kilometer.
This unique facility has the branches of the world’s top university from all around the world. From early school education to world’s leading research centers, the Education City encompasses all the educational aspects of the learners’ life. It has become the hub of education excellence in the entire region. The teachers, instructors and learners at Education City are contributing to strengthen the mutual relationship among the states.
The Education City has increasingly become the place where business sector investments are actually utilized to conduct vital research. Some of the institutes serving and strengthening the Education City include:

There are certain projects housed at the Education City which has introduced the world to the new image of the Middle East States. For instance the program Doha Debates, aired weekly on BBC, is quite surprising for many who have not heard Muslim stance on certain Issues. The other debate show more popular in the neighboring Arab states is Qatardebate, an effort to curb the practice of being quite and submissive to the social and experienced elites. Qatar has taken a huge leap towards establishing the best education standards. Only the time will tell how much potential the Middle East states have to benefit from it.
