Heartland Community College
Heartland Community College is a fully accredited two year college. The main campus of the college, which is located in Normal, is spread over a hundred and sixty acres of land. The college was founded in 1991 and has two other campuses. The college has a whole plan ready for renovation and expansion. As part of this renovation plan, a gymnasium, baseball field and a soccer field is to be added to the main campus. And since the student strength is also expected to grow as a result of these renovations, the main campus would be doubled in size as well.
Currently there are three campuses which operate in different locations in the State of Illinois. With plenty of Continuing Education classes and Work Force programs, Heartland College offers a wealth of opportunities to its students. The programs offered at the college include courses like Mechanics and Repair, Design, Liberal Arts, Family and Social Work, Business Science and Engineering, Business and Management, Construction Trades, Security and Law Enforcement, Office and Administration, Medical Support and Technology, Production Trade, Nursing and Emergency Medicine, Science and many others.
