Morgan Community College

Situated in Fort Morgan, Colorado, United States of America, Morgan Community College (MCC) is a two-year community college. It is one of the few community colleges in Colorado’s largest system of higher education – the Colorado Community College System. The college provides several courses, certificates and Associate’s degrees to students in a variety of subjects, including literature, music, economics, theater, general studies, and elementary education. However, the college is known for its programs in agricultural science and management. Additionally, the college also offers online courses for Distance Learning, which has helped many in remote areas.
Other than academics, the students at Morgan Community College also take interest in several clubs and organizations, such as the Phi Beta Lambda, Student Government, Future Teachers Club, and Phi Theta Kappa. Morgan Community College was founded in 1970. It was originally titled Morgan County Community College, which was changed in 1973 to its present name as Morgan Community College. In 1980, MCC shifted to its present main campus in Fort Morgan, Colorado, and ever since, the college mostly serves to the students of Eastern Colorado including the counties of Washington, Morgan, Kit Carson, Lincoln, Yuma, and also to the eastern half of Adams and Arapahoe counties.
